British rider David Brook will continue his challenge in the Thundersport GB GP1 Elite class for a 4th year. Achieving four podiums in his debut year in 2014, the 2013 Pre National 600 championship runner up’s aim is to consistently challenge for podiums and secure a Championship win in 2019 against some of the best riders in the country.

After recording 8 podiums in 2017, Yorkshireman David Brook felt positive about going after a championship that year but was ruled out of the championship due to a heavy fall at Round 7 Anglesey Circuit leaving him unable to complete the rest of the season. David, however, still went on to finish 3rd in the championship despite only competing in 2/3 of it and was awarded the highly coveted Outstanding Overall Performance award at the annual awards dinner.

A fast and determined racer, Brook made his mark on the championship by returning back to full fitness throughout 2018 and will most definitely excel in 2019.

The 32 year old racer has only been competing since the age of 27 and has participated in wildcards at the British Championship in just his 3rd year of competition. The realistic yet determined racer accepts a world championship is out of the window but plans to progress to British championship level as quickly as possible to make up for lost time in a world where riders start as young as 5 years old.
